Oliver Schaper
Senior Sustainability Strategist
Trained as an architect, Oliver has been working extensively in the field of interior design, architecture, master planning, urban design, and consulting in both Europe and the U.S. He is a true generalist and facilitator with a particular focus on the development of “next generation” high-performance design and planning strategies. He leads the Sustainable Design Performance Group for Gensler’s Northeast region and is member of Gensler’s sustainable design leadership team. His projects range from a small environmental not-for-profit to large scale master plans in the U.S. and the Middle East. Oliver regularly speaks about and teaches courses on sustainability topics at major New York Universities, such as the Cooper Union, Columbia University, Pratt Institute, and the New York School of Interior Design. Oliver is a LEED-Accredited Professionals for New Construction as well as for Neighborhood Development.
