Mary Edwards
Composer/Sound Architect
Mary Edwards is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound artist whose projects range from recordings evocative of epic cinematic soundtracks combined with lyrical intimacy, to ambient sound installations that explore the relationship between architecture and nature, and create cinema for the ear. Her ambient recording, "Everyday Until Tomorrow," is an impressionistic album of works representing airports, woodlands and wombs––music that reflects the conflict of desire and uncertainty that seem to simultaneously haunt these types of spaces.
