Mark Lamster is a writer on arts and culture. He is currently at work on his third book, a biography of Philip Johnson, to be published by Little, Brown. He is Associate American Editor of the Architectural Review and a Contributing Editor to Design Observer; his byline appears frequently in print and online. He was previously, for many years, Senior Editor at Princeton Architectural Press. He lives in New York City.
